Peter Hubbard: Executive Chairman |

In May 2012 Peter was appointed Executive Chairman of the UK General Insurance Group.He first joined the Group as Non-Executive Director in 2009 and is also a director of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and a Non-Executive Director of Keoghs LLP. As former Chief Executive of AXA Insurance Peter brings a wealth of experience to the expanding UK General group of businesses. |

Michael Warren: Managing Director |

Michael joined the group 2008 having spent 16 years at Halifax and HBOS plc in a broad range of roles including group strategy, investor relations and group programme office, where he established the programme management disciplines that underpinned the merger of Halifax and Bank of Scotland in 2001.He was finance director of the general insurance business, with responsibility for capital management, reinsurance and the development of a risk management capability. He was head of risk for the insurance and investment division before becoming head of creditor and protection, with responsibility for all aspects of payment protection insurance, life and critical illness products. |

Karen Beales: Technical Director |
|
Karen is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and recently completed a BA (Hons) in financial services.Since 1986, Karen has had extensive experience of working as an underwriter and broker in both commercial and personal lines products, with General Accident plc and then Wilby Insurance Brokers Limited, where she became a director in 1996. Karen joined the group in 2002 as the underwriting manager and is now responsible for underwriting across the group. |

Malachy Smith: Non-executive Director |

Malachy joined the group as non-executive director in June 2010. He was previously European managing director of Wang Technology and CEO of Pitney Bowes for Europe/Africa.Malachy is currently executive chairman at DNM Technology Limited, non-executive director of St Andrew’s Insurance Ireland and chairman of both the Ireland Canada Business Association and Scottish Mutual International. Malachy has an extensive background in both technology background the financial services sector in Europe. |
