Fortis commenced its five-year partnership agreement with UK General Insurance Group in January 2009, as part of the company's strategy to deliver high quality products that meet customers' needs.
Fortis identified UK General Insurance Group as an organisation with the capability to create and deliver a wide range of tailored general insurance products differentiated from its current product portfolio. Through UK General Insurance's current product suite Fortis underwrites a wide range of insurance products including travel, property, legal expenses, warranty, automotive-related and other specialised niche products.
This combined proposition has proven very successful through generating continual, organic growth and facilitating joint developments by both organisations.
