Howard was appointed as Chairman November 2007 after holding the post of non-executive Chairman since May 2006. Having worked in the financial services sector for over twenty-five years in 1995 Howard joined HBOS where he created and led one of the organization's most successful divisions.
Howard now works as an independent consultant focusing on businesses' high level priorities. Since leaving HBOS he has undertaken a number of strategic and process orientated consultancy projects within the financial service sector, both independently and in conjunction with other consultancy and accountancy businesses to advise companies on their strategic direction, including future financing options.
