Ageas identified UK General Insurance Group as an organisation with the capability to create and deliver a wide range of tailored general insurance products differentiated from its current product portfolio. Through UK General Insurance’s current product suite, Ageas underwrites a wide range of insurance products including automotive-related, legal expenses, property, travel, warranty and other specialised niche products. This combined proposition has proven very successful through generating continual, organic growth and facilitating joint developments by both organisations. Ageas views UK General Insurance Group as commercially innovative, technically agile with strong market awareness. This strong track record of delivering high quality products and services at low levels of cost complements Ageas’ commercial ethos. |

Direct Group has a highly established claims management company handling Liability, Life, Motor, Property and Travel claims. Employing highly developed systems, delivering virtually paper free policy servicing and administration, our model enables us to provide the highest quality claims administration and scheme performance. As a result our proposition, when combined with various underwriter partners, often represents a very competitive proposition. Providing quality products, backed by leading brand insurers and supported by market leading claims, sales and service, Direct Group has become a strong business-to-business brand, well recognised in the industry. Direct Group currently operates on a business-to-business basis by offering products to financial institutions, brokers, intermediaries, corporates and affinities plus a range of services across the insurance industry. The services typically offered by Direct Group include product design, account development and training, policy administration, premium collection, claim handling, sales and service, insurer and captive reporting. Direct Group performs the claims administration services for UK General Insurance Group. This claims administration covers a broad skill set across a wide range of products within the property, travel and liability market. This includes specialist teams handling schemes for Let Property, Personal Accident, Social Housing and Wedding insurances. In addition, the Nexus team undertakes Employer and Public Liability, Legal Expenses and Professional Indemnity claims handling. |

Open Contact is an outsource contact centre and fulfillment business, based in Norwich. The family run and owned business was established in 2000 and currently employs 70 staff.Open Contact provides inbound and outbound customer contact and fulfillment services to a wide variety of organisations including insurance providers, charities, e-commerce retailers and travel & leisure companies. Activities undertaken by the organisation range from sales processing, customer enquiry handling and message taking, through to document fulfillment, database management and bulk mailings. Open Contact can handle customer contacts via the telephone, email, fax, post and web and have a sophisticated, fully web-enabled setup to support all services and requirements. UK General Insurance Group contracted Open Contact as an appointed representative in September 2009, to deliver the call centre and policy administration services for their own and third party brand business. Having previously undertaken these activities in-house, we selected Open Contact as its outsource partner, in part due to Open Contact’s location, which enabled the in-house team to transfer to the employment of Open Contact, ensuring the continuance of a high-quality, effective and consistent service. The partnership also allows for continued service improvements, added value and innovation, delivered against the background of strong service level agreements and compliant management principle, the benefits of which can be passed on to UK General’s clients and customers. |

UKGI provides a wide range of business support services to our brokers with particular emphasis on compliance, market access and revenue generation.Through bespoke partnership arrangements, sponsored membership of UKGI is available to brokers who are looking to grow volumes of business with UK General Insurance Group. Sponsored UKGI members enjoy a range of benefits including enhanced commissions, dedicated resources and access to the full range of our products and facilities. UKGI also offers access to complementary markets, enabling brokers to place specialist and/or difficult-to-place risks, together with marketing assistance, a highly competitive scheme for brokers’ own professional indemnity insurance and a premium finance facility at extremely attractive rates of interest. UKGI is not a network, UKGI is a market-leading compliance support services are used by hundreds of brokers who as result can benefit from the buying power of a group of brokers which controls in excess of £2 billion GWP. Its partnership with UK General is designed to deliver real increases in brokers’ bottom lines and opportunities for profitable business growth. |
