UK General Insurance Group CEO Tim Rolfe to Step Down

29th January 2010

UK General Insurance CEO Tim Rolfe will be leaving the Group for family reasons at the end
of March 2010, it was announced today (29.01.10).

Commenting on his decision to step down, Tim said that after the merger of a number of
businesses to form UK General Insurance Group, it was essential that the CEO could fully
commit to the core team, headquartered in Leeds, and he didn't wish to re-locate his family to Yorkshire at this time.

Tim, who joined PBS Holdings as Chief Operating Officer in 2005, said: "The Group is
emerging from the merger of PBS Holdings and Longhawk Group in good shape. It is well
placed to grow and prosper as a leading provider of scheme and affinity solutions to the UK general insurance market and I am confident that it will go from strength to strength"

Tim will continue to support the Group through the first quarter and oversee the completion of the merger, after which time Howard Posner, UK General's Executive Chairman, will take on the leadership role supported by Michael Warren, Chief Operating Officer, and Karen Smith, Technical Director, until a new Chief Executive is appointed.
Howard said: "I want to thank Tim for leading the business successfully through a period of
intensive change, during challenging market conditions. There will be plenty of time for us to thank him between now and the end of March, but he has made a tremendous contribution to the Group during his time here and I wish him well for the future."
